Introducing Masa Mami: A Mommy & Daughter Baking Adventure 🍞🍪
At home, the smell of freshly baked bread has become part of our daily rhythm. For a while now, Catherine, who has always had a passion for baking, has been making everything from sourdough loaves to chewy sourdough cookies. And right beside her, with flour on her cheeks and a big smile on her face, is our 5-year-old daughter Mila Tatiana, who absolutely loves baking with her mama.
This summer, we decided to turn our shared love for baking into something more meaningful, a summer homeschool project with a purpose. With Mila’s creativity and enthusiasm leading the way, she came up with the name Masa Mami, a perfect blend of our Latin roots and her sweet, imaginative spirit.
Masa Mami isn’t just about bread and cookies — it’s about lessons in ownership, creativity, responsibility, and fun. We want Mila to learn what it means to build something with love, just like mommy and daddy do in our own businesses. Through this little venture, she’s learning the basics of entrepreneurship — baking, packaging, selling, and most importantly, serving with heart.
